The
Life Changing Resurrection
The
resurrection of Jesus is not a neutral event.
Either you believe it and embrace it as the most important event in human
history,
or you dismiss it as a hoax and totally untrue.
But make no mistake about it;
what you do with the resurrection is of
utmost importance.
When
sin entered into the world, as the result of Adam’s sin, the personal
relationship between man and God was broken.
For the Christian, the result of the atoning work of Christ when He died
on the cross in our place for our sins is that we become right with God.
The personal relationship between us and God has been restored as a
result of what Jesus did. All we did
was to accept, by faith, Jesus as our savior.
The
resurrection is God’s Stamp of Approval and acceptance of Jesus’ atoning
work on the cross.
When God raised
Jesus from the dead it was like stamping “Paid in Full” on our sin-debt.
It showed that God accepted Jesus’ death as the full payment for our
sins. Nothing else is owed.
The debt is paid.
